Surviving are her 2 daughters, Hazel Poston and Wanda Davidson (James); 5 sisters, Sally Center, Earlene Mengel, Katherine Gosnell, Christine Barton and Sadie Mae Pike; 3 brothers, Grady, Willie and Curtis Gosnell; 6 grandchildren, Alan (Suzanne), Brian, David (Emily) and Chris Poston, Wess (Shasta) and Matthew Davidson and 9 great-grandchildren. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Grace Stamey Gosnell and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Surviving are her 2 daughters, Hazel Poston and Wanda Davidson (James); 5 sisters, Sally Center, Earlene Mengel, Katherine Gosnell, Christine Barton and Sadie Mae Pike; 3 brothers, Grady, Willie and Curtis Gosnell; 6 grandchildren, Alan (Suzanne), Brian, David (Emily) and Chris Poston, Wess (Shasta) and Matthew Davidson and 9 great-grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son, Wallace Moon; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. The family would like to give a special thank you to Hospice of South Carolina. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at Pleasant View Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with receiving of friends prior from 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Pleasant View Baptist Church at 110 Old Rutherford Rd., Taylors, SC 29687.
