Description	:	Otho L. Youngs, 81, died Friday at his home in rural Huron, Theresa Township. Otho Lance Youngs was born in Poynette, Wis., Jan. 28, to George and Minnie Youngs. He moved with his parents to Theresa Township in early childhood. He attended Thesesa Township schools and was valedictorian of his graduating class of 1911 at Huron High School. On Dec. 30, 1915 he married Emily Brandmire. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last year. Youngs, 81, died Friday at his home in rural Huron, Theresa Township. Otho Lance Youngs was born in Poynette, Wis., Jan. 28, to George and Minnie Youngs. He moved with his parents to Theresa Township in early childhood. He attended Thesesa Township schools and was valedictorian of his graduating class of 1911 at Huron High School. On Dec. 30, 1915 he married Emily Brandmire. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary last year. In 1972 Youngs was honored by the Theresa Township officers with a dinner and plaque recognizing his 50 years of continuous service to the township and community. He lived his entire life on the family farm north of Huron. Survivors include his widow, Emily, Huron; one son, Laurence O. Youngs, Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Mr. Lester (Josephine) Poppen, Huron; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and one brother, Edward Youngs, Huron. The funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church Chapel with the Rev. Robert Wagner officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the Welter Funeral Home Sunday afternoon and evening or after 3 p.m. Monday and Monday evening.
