A native of Union, he was son of the late George W. and Alice Willard Henderson. He was a member of Church of Christ. He was retired from Milliken Co.'s Monarch Plant. Surviving are his wife, Allene Mitchell Henderson; two daughters, Terry Montgomery of Adamsburg and Cathy Bailey of Union; a grandson, Johnny Otis Montgomery of Adamsburg; three sisters, Nellie Suttles of the home, Paulette Johnson of High Point, N.C., and Betty Eubanks of Union. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at S.R. Holcombe Funeral Home in Union. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home's chapel, conducted by the Revs. Curtis Gilbert and Jesse Ham Jr. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. The family is at the home.
