Description	:	Otto Anderson was born to parents Ole and Rachael (Alson) Anderson on July 4, 1882, at Leonard, North Dakota. He married Louise Greuel on February 5, 1908 at Bethel Moravian Church, Leonard, North Dakota. Otto took over his parents' farm until 1912 when they moved to Chaffee, North Dakota. In 1915 they moved to Leonard, North Dakota where he worked as a rural mail carrier for 10 years. He returned to farming in Chaffee when he left his position as a mail carrier. Read More	Otto Anderson was born to parents Ole and Rachael (Alson) Anderson on July 4, 1882, at Leonard, North Dakota. He married Louise Greuel on February 5, 1908 at Bethel Moravian Church, Leonard, North Dakota. Otto took over his parents' farm until 1912 when they moved to Chaffee, North Dakota. In 1915 they moved to Leonard, North Dakota where he worked as a rural mail carrier for 10 years. He returned to farming in Chaffee when he left his position as a mail carrier. During the summer months he also did carpentry work. He retired in 1955 because of ill health. He had made his home at the Good Samaritan Rest Home at Aneta, North Dakota, for the past 10 years. Otto, 82, died in an area hospital on Sunday, February 7, 1965 after an extended illness. He is survived by his two sons, Lester Anderson of Chaffee, ND, and Wilbert Anderson of Long Beach, CA; one sister, Inga Scilley of Horace, ND; one grandchild, and two grandchildren. Preceded him in death was his wife Louise; two sisters, Cora Zick of Ambercombie, ND, and Abbie Peterson of Pontiac, Michigan. The funeral will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 11th, in the Bethel Moravian Church. Rev. Ehrenberg will officiate the funeral rites. Interment will follow at Bethel Moravian Cemetery.
