Description	:	Otto Lennick, 81, Dickinson, died July 29, 2010, at home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 3, at the Bismarck Funeral Home, with Pastor Herb Teitgen officiating. Interment will be at the Hazen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Bismarck Funeral Home and continue one hour prior to the service. Otto Lennick was born in Otter Creek Aug. 26, 1928, to Pauline (Kraft) and Edward Lennick. He finished 8th grade and farmed the family farm until the fall of 1969 when he sold the farm. He moved the family into Bismarck and began a career with Sweetheart Bakery working on the production line. He retired his second career Aug. 31, 1990, and was honored to receive a 20 consecutive years Safety Award. After retiring, he wintered in Phoenix Ariz., spending time with his son and grandchildren. He spent his summers visiting his daughters and spending time with his cousin Clarence and family. He would tell you the best place to eat in town — the Little Cottage. He also enjoyed the attention he received while living at the “High Rise.” He is survived by his daughters, Jackie Knowlen, Dickinson, and Sandy (Craig) Zimmer, Bismarck; one son, Kermit Lennick, Phoeniz, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Kristina, Kermit II, Kendal, Kalieb and Ketera, all of Phoenix; and caretaker, Wanda Brewer. Otto is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Oscar; and four sisters, Edna, Velma, Gertrude and Alice. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a local food bank or homeless shelter.
