Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, Jan. 25, at the Wyoming Presbyterian church. Rev. Wayne Norris and Rev. Gerald Shibley officiated at the services. Interment was in the Wyoming cemetery. Pallbearers Named: Pallbearers included Wayne Anderson, Harley Anderson, Dean Anderson, Lowell Anderson, Harold Anderson and Laverne Jamison. He received his formal education at the Wyoming public school and was a resident of Jones county throughout his entire life except for one year spent at Rock Island. More Told: He was married Feb. 17, 1914, to Ina Mae Anderson. Couple made their home on a farm in South Madison township until they retired and moved to Wyoming in 1958. In 1961 they moved to Center Junction. He was a member of the Wyoming Presbyterian church and served that fellowship as a deacon. He had been active in the Center Junction church since moving to Center Junction. Survivors Listed: Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Betty, Mrs. Merlyn Behnke and a brother, Orrie Newell, Chicago, Ill. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
