Description	:	Otto Thaden was born December 20, 1883, at Oestfriedland, Germany, and passed away February 26, 1957, at the Good Samaritan Hospital at Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 73 years, ten months and six days. He was the son of Thade Thaden and Marie Carman. He came to the United States with his parents in 1892 and settled in the state of Nebraska. Read More	Otto Thaden was born December 20, 1883, at Oestfriedland, Germany, and passed away February 26, 1957, at the Good Samaritan Hospital at Kearney, Nebraska at the age of 73 years, ten months and six days. He was the son of Thade Thaden and Marie Carman. He came to the United States with his parents in 1892 and settled in the state of Nebraska. In the year 1908 he was united in marriage to Mary Lammers and to this union eight children were born, sex sons and two daughters; Ernest, Tacoma, Wash,; Walter, Moses Lake, Wash; Mrs. Alvera Schwab, Pleasanton; Mrs. Elva Busch, Riverdale; Clifford, Springfield, Missouri; Leonard and LaVern of Hastings. One son, Ervin, preceded him in death. He was confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church at Millerburg, Nebraska, April 18, 1900. Mr. Thaden was a kind and loving husband, father and grandfather and was loved by all who knew him. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife, Mary; five sons; two daughters; 16 grandchildren; on great grandson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
