Description	:	Afternoon services were conducted on Monday, June 16, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stratford for Otto Bartz, 85, who died at St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen on June 12. The Rev. Walter Keller of Columbia, officiated. Burial was in the East Rondell cemetery. Pallbearers were Walter Nack, Berthold Lenling, Herbert and William Radke, August Bartz and Herman Schinkel. Survivors include his widow; four sons, William and Walter of Stratford, Arthur of Ontario, Calif., and Rudolph of Huntsville, Ala.; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Esther) Wunderlich, Voltaire, N. D., Mrs. Hubert (Viola) Stange of Verdon, Mrs. Otis (Myrtle) Funston of Sioux Falls. Two sisters, Mrs. Ida Schinkel of Groton and Mrs. Mary Radke of Stratford. Nineteen grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, a son, one daughter, two brothers and two sisters.
