Description	:	OVIDIA DAHL Ovidia M. Dahl, 90, wife of former Lt. Gov. C. P. Dahl, Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, died April 17, 1990, in the nursing home. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lutheran Church of the Cross, Bismarck, with the Rev. Keith Odney officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Bismarck. The family moved to a farm near Jessie, where she was raised and attended rural school. She graduated from Cooperstown High School in 1920 and began teaching school. She married C. P. Dahl, December 28, 1922, at Jessie. The bought the general store in Jessie in 1923, and she was appointed postmaster. They also farmed. They sold the store in 1949 and moved to Cooperstown, where she worked as assistant postmaster. They moved to Bismarck in 1961. Mr. Dahl died in 1976. She served on the township board and school board at Jessie. She was a member of P.E.O. and Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Phillip and Vivian Dahl, Bismarck; one brother, Arthur, Binford; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
