Description	:	From Benson County Farmers Press The funeral for Palmer Toso, 82, of Aneta, formerly of the Isabel area, will be held Wed. at 11 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Esmond. Interment will be in the church cemetery. He died Jan. 31, 1993 at the Good Samaritan Center in Aneta. Rev. Lori Keyer-Boswell will officiate. Margaret Toso will be organist. Dawn Halvorson will furnish special music. Pallbearers will be Milton Erickson, Eddie Swingen, Gordon Smith, Arden Toso, Todd Toso & Mark Toso. The Nelson Funeral Home of Maddock was in charge of arrangements. Palmer Toso was born Jan. 19, 1911 in Isabel Township of Benson County to Conrad & Ida Toso. He was educated at the Isabel Township School & attended the Hanson Mechanic School in Fargo. He served with the US Army during WWII from 1941 to 1943. After his discharge he returned to Isabel Township & worked on area farms until poor health forced him to retire. In June of 1990 he entered the Maddock Memorial Home & in May of 1991 he became a resident of the Good Samaritan Center in Aneta. He was baptized & confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church & was a lifelong member. He was also a member of VFW Post 4251 of Esmond. Survivors include 3 brothers, William & Clarence Toso of Devils Lake & Arnold Toso of Seattle Wash.; & a sister, Ella Regstad of Campbell, Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers, Arthur, Elmer, Ralph, Julian & Orville; & 2 sisters, Hilda Toso & Mabel Stenson.
