Pamela Kay Anderson, daughter of Donald and Christine (Bies) Sullivan was born September 28, 1954 in Sioux Falls, SD. Pam grew up in Salem, SD and graduated from Salem High School in 1972. Following her graduation she attended Nettleton Community College for two years. Pam was united in marriage to Daniel Lee Anderson on April 19, 1980 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Salem. Dan and Pam created a loving home and their lives were enriched by two sons, Isaac and Drew. Pam was a devoted wife and mother. Faith, family, and friends were the most important parts of Pam's life. She enjoyed every family gathering and celebrating her Irish heritage. Pam enjoyed her job as church secretary at Christ the King Church for eighteen years. She was dedicated to her service with the Boy Scouts of America. She was a Den Leader for Cub Scouts and served on the committee for Troop #361. In 2007, she received the District Award of Merit from the Boy Scouts for her years of service. Her hobbies included gardening, cross stitch, photography, and crocheting. She also enjoyed fishing with her family and watching the beautiful sunsets. Pam loved animals, especially her cats. Another favorite of Pam's was watching and listening to loons in Northern Minnesota. Grateful for sharing her life is her husband of 28 years, Daniel Anderson; two sons, Isaac (fiancé Susan Rogers) Anderson and Drew (Stacey) Anderson, all of Sioux Falls; one brother, Roger (Vicki) Sullivan, of Burlington, VT; one sister, Barbara (Jerry) Schroeder, of Kansas City, MO; parents-in-law, Curtis and Adeline Anderson; brother-in-law Dave (Linda) Anderson, all of Sioux Falls; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Pam was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Patty Sullivan.
