Pamela was the daughter of Richard and Margaret Burry Ringler. She started her education at St John's Catholic school in Victor until the eighth grade, then attended and graduated from Iowa Valley community High School with the class of 1956. She began working in Cedar Rapids for a short time before moving to Burbank California. On November 27, 1957, she was united in marriage to Melvin Stevens at St. Xavier's Catholic Church in Burbank. The couple later returned to Iowa to raise their five children on the family farm. Pamela was employed by Amana Refrigeration for 22 years. She was forced to retire after she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Pamela enjoyed spending time with her mother and all her family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Danny O' Donnel, and was proud to be part Irish. she was inspiration to all the lives she touched, and was always putting them before herself. She will be greatly missed.
