Pamela Sue Kula was born July 23, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Ernest and Marian (Schwitzer) Kula. She graduated from Anamosa High School in 1966. She married Charles Rubner in 1967, and were the parents of three sons. Pamela and Charles were later divorced. She married Steven Ray Seehusen on March 29, 1979, in Mechanicsville. Together they owned Seehusen Insurance. Steven preceded her in death on December 11, 1996. Pamela and Steven enjoyed traveling, they had a second home in Bella Vista, Arkansas, golfing, playing cards, especially Pam's Bridge Club for many years, and spending time at the Casino. After Steve passed, she owned and operated Travel Now as a travel agent and enjoyed putting many trips together for friends and family. She spent many summers with the grandchildren in Bella Vista and later at Lake of the Ozarks. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend, always putting family and friends before herself. She was known for her kindness, generosity and her famous potato salad and Christmas goodies. Above all, she loved the time she spent with her family and grandchildren. Surviving are three sons, Bryan (Stacy) Rubner of Mechanicsville, Chad (Connie) Rubner of Anamosa and Daron (Lindsey Burgess) Rubner of Lisbon; nine grandchildren, Nate, Kenzie, Madison, Brittanie, Austen, Logan, Brianna, Mazie and Gabby; three great-grandchildren, Charlee, Ace and Gino; two sisters, Becky (Buzz) Shannon and Karla Kula; two brothers, Larry (Marlys) Kula and Tim (Ansara) Kula; one sister-in-law, Margaret Kula; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Albert Kula and one nephew, Stephen Kula.
