Funeral service will be tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. in Bonds Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Benjamin Matzko officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. McCorkle was born on Dec. 7, 1910 in Union County, a son of the late Press and Robena McManus McCorkle. He was retired from the maintenance department of the City of Charlotte.
