Description	:	MULBERRY — Patricia Ann Prettyman, 74, of Mulberry died at 10:15 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2010, after suffering from a short illness. Mrs. Prettyman was born November 1, 1936, in Liberal, Mo., the daughter of Homer and Helen Frame LeGrande. in 1954, Patricia graduated from Liberal High School. She later received a degree in nursing from Mount Carmel Hospital. She worked for Sunset Manor in Frontenac for numerous years, where she retired. Read More	MULBERRY — Patricia Ann Prettyman, 74, of Mulberry died at 10:15 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2010, after suffering from a short illness. Mrs. Prettyman was born November 1, 1936, in Liberal, Mo., the daughter of Homer and Helen Frame LeGrande. in 1954, Patricia graduated from Liberal High School. She later received a degree in nursing from Mount Carmel Hospital. She worked for Sunset Manor in Frontenac for numerous years, where she retired. She married Arthur Prettyman in February 1958 in Fort Lewis, Wash. They had the honor of celebrating 52 glorious years together. Mr. Prettyman survives at the home. Patricia is survived by her husband Arthur and her beloved Cinnamon of the home; two daughters, Pam Hornbeck and fiance Tim Loveland of Blue Springs, Mo., and Debbie King of Oronogo, Mo.; three granddaughters, Erika Whitehill and husband Chris, and Emily Hornback, all of Blue Springs, and Brielle King of Oronogo. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at the Bedene Funeral Home in Arma with the Rev. Billy Wells officiating. Burlal will be at the Pittsburg Garden of Memories Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Bedene Chapel, where friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The family would like to especially thank and suggests memorials to the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice. Donations may be sent to or left at the Bedene Funeral Home, 517 E. Washington, Box 621, Arma, KS 66712.
