Her memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Westway Christian Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Willie Coop officiating. Pat was born on July 21, 1928 on a farm north of Mitchell to Harold “Abe” and Erma (Hartz) Parker. She grew up in the Mitchell Valley area, attending the Brown Canyon and Mitchell schools. She graduated from Mitchell High School with the class of 1945. Upon graduation, Pat worked for Great Western Sugar Company in Mitchell for 14 campaigns as a clerk in the office. She worked many years at the House of Hose and Coupling Company as a secretary and book keeper retiring in 1998. She also worked a part time job as a waitress for 17 years at Little Moon Super Club. She met Joseph Cawthra at a “Big Band Dance” in Mitchell, NE. They were married in March of 1948 at Laramie, WY; later divorcing in 1967. Pat purchased a home in Torrington in 1975. She met and married Roger Cole in 1984. She was a member of the Westway Church in Scottsbluff. Pat is survived by brothers Jay Parker of Morrill, NE, Harold (Peg) Parker of Redding, CA; sister-in-law Pat Parker of Mitchell, NE; children Joel (Kim) Cawthra of Torrington, WY, Jerra (Richard) Pester of Minatare, NE, Tim (Mitzi) Cawthra of Morrill, NE, and Janelle (Robert) Anderson of Scottsbluff, NE; grandchildren Jason Cawthra of Seattle, WA, Ashley Hill of Dallas, TX, Lindsay Wheat of Laramie, WY, Skyler Cawthra of Baton Rouge, LA, Dylan Schneider of Morrill, NE, Tyler Schneider and Justin Pester and Sara Pester all of Scottsbluff, NE, Matthew Anderson and Todd Anderson both of Rapid City, SD, and Alexa Anderson of Spearfish, SD; 6 great-grandchildren and 7 stepchildren. Her parents, brother Jerry Parker, grandson Joey Cawthra, and husbands Joseph Cawthra and Roger Cole preceded her in death.
