Patricia Ann Huber, daughter of Raymond and Fern (Letcher) Huber, was born on November 2, 1943, in Adrian, MN. She grew up in Alexandria, SD, and graduated high school in 1961. Patricia Ann Huber, daughter of Raymond and Fern (Letcher) Huber, was born on November 2, 1943, in Adrian, MN. She grew up in Alexandria, SD, and graduated high school in 1961. On June 16th, 1962, Pat was united in marriage to Milford Tammen in Emery, South Dakota. The couple lived in the Sioux Falls area where they began to raise their three daughters. Pat started selling Home Interiors when the girls were young. In 1970 the family made their home in Hartford, South Dakota. She began working at the Hartford Farmers Elevator in 1976 and continued for over 30 years until she retired. Pat and Milford opened Tammen Oil in 1984. Pat supported Milford in the growth of the business. After Pat’s diagnosis of cancer in 2012, she received a stem cell transplant which led to her new birth date of September 26 of the same year. Pat was a member of the Jaycettes, the Lioness, several church groups, and the Circle of Hope. She enjoyed having dinner and playing cards with friends, traveling, and taking motorcycle trips. Pat would take joy in making cards for family and friends. Pat had a good sense of humor and could give as good as she could take. She enjoyed putting puzzles together on winter days with her grandchildren. Pat also enjoyed singing, playing the organ, and listening to music. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Milford Tammen, Hartford, SD; daughters Vikki (Jim) Davidson, Sioux Falls, SD, Nancy (Mike) Gacke, Hartford, SD, Debbe (Barry) Koenecke, Clear Lake, SD; mother Fern Huber, Bridgewater, SD; brothers Dick (Pat) Huber, Alexandria, SD, Dennis (Peg) Huber, Mitchell, SD; sister Bonnie (Roger) Schwiesow, Rockford, IL; sisters-in-law Carol (John) Jucht, Sioux Falls, SD, Arlys (Mike) Cauwels, Wentworth, SD; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jeremy), Andrew, Mara, Joshua, Nathan, Abigail, Dallis, Noah, Darby; great-granddaughter Norah; and many other relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her father Raymond, and her in-laws Herman and Irene Tammen. Visitation with the family present will be from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the Miller Funeral Home Hartford Chapel, 600 South Western Ave, Hartford, SD. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at the Hartford United Methodist Church with burial at the Hartford Cemetery.
