Description	:	MACHIAS - Patricia Ann Ramsdell, 71, of Machias, passed away unexpectedly and went to be with the lord on Monday, July 15, 2013. She was born to the late Earl and Ethelyb (Beal) Nelson on Oct. 25, 1941, in Portland. She grew up in the home of her beloved grandparents, Dorothy and Issac Seavey, on Beals Island. Pat was a devout Christian and enjoyed worshiping and volunteering at Machias Valley Baptist Church, where she was a member. She adored her family and pets, Mileigh and Bandit. Read More	MACHIAS - Patricia Ann Ramsdell, 71, of Machias, passed away unexpectedly and went to be with the lord on Monday, July 15, 2013. She was born to the late Earl and Ethelyb (Beal) Nelson on Oct. 25, 1941, in Portland. She grew up in the home of her beloved grandparents, Dorothy and Issac Seavey, on Beals Island. Pat was a devout Christian and enjoyed worshiping and volunteering at Machias Valley Baptist Church, where she was a member. She adored her family and pets, Mileigh and Bandit. She enjoyed family gatherings, lunch with the Widow's Club, shopping and decorating her home. Pat will forever be cherished and missed by her brother, Buddy; children, Ruth, Sherry and her husband, Rick, Scott and his wife, Nancy, and Robert and his wife, Sonya; grandchildren, Rene, Russell, Falin, Derrick, Michael, Brandon B., Christina, Brandon T. and Ashley; great-grandchildren, Christina F., Daniel, Nadia, Devon, Ben, Nataiya, Damon, Kileigh, Kristen and Tristan; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and special friends, Lisa Perry and Shirley Heartfield. The family extends a very special thanks to Bernece Lithgow and Jesse Bunker for all their assistance. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; husband, veteran and firefighter, Robert Allen Ramsdell; sister Dorothy DeMoranville; and brother, Robert Nelson. The funeral service was held Monday, July 22, 2013, at Machias Valley Baptist Church, with Pastor Mark White officiating. Burial followed at Greenwood Cemetery in Jonesport.
