Saturday, September 18, 2021, and can be viewed on Patricia's Tribute Wall on the Adams Funeral Home website. Patricia was born October 17, 1949 to her proud parents, C. Paul and Wilma (Fidler) White, in Marshalltown, IA. She graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1967 and attended Community College there for one year. Patricia was united in marriage to Bruce D. Runner on December 13, 1968, to which three sons were born, Nathan David, Andrew Paul, and Jonathan Mark. Patricia was well known for her industriousness and loving concern for others. Her love of Jehovah and faith in the Bible led her to countless acts of loving kindness to others. Despite years of struggling with Parkinson's Disease, Patricia never gave up her determination to be a loyal servant to Jehovah, loving spouse and mother. She was always a caring and kind person, who showed genuine love, concern, and respect for others. Her primary goal in life was to maintain her Christian Faith and personal friendship with her God, Jehovah. (John 17:3) Patricia will be deeply missed by her family and friends and is survived by her husband of over 52 years, Bruce Runner of Ames; three sons, Nathan Runner of Arlington, TX; Andrew Runner of Pagosa Spring, CO and Jonathan (Amanda) of Ames; sister, Jannette Healy of Chaska, MN; brother, Craig (Jo) White of Pequot Lakes, MN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian (LaDonna) Runner of Laurel, IA and Karen (Dirk) Sleeuwenhoek of Grinnell, IA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Adams Funeral Home and online condolences may be left to Patricia's family at www.adamssoderstrum.com.
