(Hamilton) Fraley, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2011, at home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Wenatchee, WA on November 4, 1930, to Elizabeth and Allen Hamilton. She graduated from Wenatchee High School in 1948, where she played tennis and was DeMolay Sweetheart. After high school, Pattie attended WSU and was a "Cougar" through and through. She married Robert "Bob" Fraley on June 11, 1950, and they made their home in Wenatchee until 2000, when they moved to a new home they'd built in East Wenatchee. Highlights of her early years included the birth of their four children, dance club, bridge clubs, Republican politics, and golf. Throughout the years, she volunteered at school and other events and was an Apple Blossom Chaperone in 1977 and 1978. She enjoyed watching the Seahawks and the Sonics and was involved in a football pool for years. Her trademark was her laugh; it was infectious and Bob said he could always find her by her laugh. She enjoyed the game of bridge, playing well into her late 70's. The grandchildren loved to go to "Grandma's house" when they were growing up and knew they could talk to her about anything. Bob and Pattie traveled a lot over the years, particularly enjoying the trips with family and friends. Pattie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bob; four children: Christine Henry of East Wenatchee; Eric (Debbie) Fraley of Selah, WA; Carol Pettersen of East Wenatchee; and Pete (Cindy) Fraley of Wenatchee; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; three sisters, Sallie (Glen) Robins of Portland, OR, Beckie (Bob) Gills of Seattle and Sue Erickson of Ocean Shores; and her sister-in-law, Lois Parks of East Wenatchee. She was preceded in death by her parents. Viewing will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at Heritage Memorial Chapel in East Wenatchee. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, May 19, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life at the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club in East Wenatchee. She was a lifelong resident of the Wenatchee Valley and had been a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Bob Fraley of East Wenatchee; her children, Christine Henry and Carol Pettersen, both of East Wenatchee, Eric Fraley of Selah and Pete Fraley of Wenatchee; and her sisters, Sallie Robins of Portland, Ore., Beckie Gills of Seattle and Sue Erickson of Ocean Shores. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. May 19 at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee, followed by a celebration of her life at the Wenatchee Golf & Country Club in East Wenatchee. Arrangements are by Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
