A native of Newport News, Mrs. Waltrip was a Williamsburg resident for six years. She graduated from Eastern Mennonite High School in Harrisonburg and was employed by James City County as a central dispatcher. Mrs. Waltrip was a member of Warwick River Mennonite Church, Newport News. Survivors include her husband, John L. A funeral will be conducted at 2p.m. Wednesday in the church by the Revs. NelsonBurkholder and Gordon Zook. Burial will be in the church cemetary.
