She graduated from Athens High School and attended Ohio University. She worked as a dental assistant for the Late Dr. Roy F. Wichterman for many years. Her and her husband moved to Lakeside Ohio and she worked in Port Clinton Ohio and again was a dental assistant, then they moved to Mt. Sterling Ohio and was a receptionist and bridal consultant at F & R Lazarus based in Columbus Ohio. She was a member of Athens First United Methodist Church and a member for 60 plus years with the Eastern Star (Mt. Sterling Chapter). Her obits were published in the Athens Messenger on Aug. 15, 2019.
