She graduated from Belleville High School, and attended school in California. She was married to Harold J. Lemmons on May 16, 1953 in Breckenridge, Kentucky. They made their home in Lincoln and Falun, Kansas, prior to living in California for 39 years. They moved back to Enterprise in 1995. She was a homemaker, a member of the Enterprise United Methodist Church, where she served as Financial Secretary, was a 4-H leader in California, and a member of the Questers antique collectors club. Lemmons was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Theodore Ray Lemmons, and one brother, Manning Allsman. She is survived by her husband, two sons, Eric J. Lemmons, Sacramento, Cali, and Clayton W. Lemmons, Washington; one daughter Kay Marie Lemmons, Enterprise; two brothers, Renn Allsman, Belleville, and Gery Allsman, Idyllwild, Cali.; two sisters, Jane Otott, and Marjorie Peterson, both of Belleville; 10 grandchildren. and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at the Enterprise United Methodist Church, Friday, July 12, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jim Herron officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Enterprise.
