She was the daughter of William and Pearl (Goforth) Windham. She was raised in Oklahoma, Arizona, and California. She graduated from Heavener High School in Heavener, Oklahoma in 1947. Patricia was born on January 26, 1929, in Stapp, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of William and Pearl (Goforth) Windham. She was raised in Oklahoma, Arizona, and California. She graduated from Heavener High School in Heavener, Oklahoma in 1947. While attending Business College in Dallas/Fort Worth area she met Lyle Spurlin. They were married on June 1, 1949. They moved to Union, Iowa, in 1950. She worked as a CAN/CMA in Eldora for over 20 years. After her retirement she worked at the Eldora Public Library for seven years. Patricia was the mother of five children, Danny, Debbie, Mike, Steve, and Connie. She was divorced from Lyle in 1983 and never remarried. Patricia loved to crochet baby afghans, tend to her flower gardens, and support her grandchildren's sporting events. Survivors include her children Mike (Shelly) Spurlin of Toledo, Iowa, Steve (Paula) Spurlin of New Hartford, Iowa, Connie (Brett) Hare of West Palm Beach, Florida; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
