Following the services, a celebration of life for Patsy will be held at Whitey's in Lisbon. Patricia Louise Seehusen was born April 30, 1934, in Monticello, the daughter of Rudolph and Esther (McDonald) Seehusen. She graduated from Mechanicsville High School with the Class of 1951. She married James Richard Miller on August 23, 1952. Together they farmed and raising their two daughters, Lou Ann and Wendy. She worked as a Dispatcher for the Cedar County Sheriff's Office, was a waitress and cook at the Mechanicsville Sale Barn and helped to raise her grandchildren. She was a volunteer at the EAA Airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin for over 45 years. She was a member of the Mechanicsville United Methodist Church and the Women's Auxiliary. She loved all of her many friends and family. Mushroom hunting was her favorite thing to do, she also loved to play cards, dance and spend time in her backyard that Howard maintained for her. She always enjoyed her visits from darling friend Peggy and the late Keith Beck, generally a card game always ensued. She loved her Iowa Hawkeyes, her flowers and neat trinkets that Wendy brought home to her from all over the world and to spoil her great-granddaughter Zoe. She always liked to plan ahead and chose her close friend Robert 'Skinny" Jilovec to make her casket. Surviving are her husband, James of Mechanicsville; two daughters, Lou Ann (David) Cook of Sebago, ME, and Wendy (Kevin) Bird of Springville; one son-in-law, Howard (Beth Doyle) Siver of Mechanicsville; four grandchildren, Trent (Dawn Sander) Siver, Kolter Siver, Rachel (Kyle Koth) King and Taylor (Jamie Mulry) Bang; and one great- granddaughter, Zoe King. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Clifford Seehusen, Charles Seehusen and Steve Seehusen. Fry Funeral Home
