Description	:	Patricia "Pat" Koelling died Monday, August 19, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo following a lengthy illness. She was born March 14, 1945 in Neola, Iowa the daughter of Clement and Alice Jokumsen Masker. Pat graduated from High School in Neola and also graduated from Business Institute of Technology. She married Kenneth Koelling on June 20, 1970 in Denver, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1980. Pat and Kenneth farmed in the Denver area and she later owned Van-Niks Restaurant in Denver. She married Kenneth Koelling on June 20, 1970 in Denver, Iowa. He preceded her in death in 1980. Pat and Kenneth farmed in the Denver area and she later owned Van-Niks Restaurant in Denver. Survivors include a son, Vance (Linda) Koelling of Waterloo; a daughter, Nikki Koelling of Waterloo; 3 grandchildren, Caleb, Kami and Trevor Koelling; 2 brothers, Tim (Della) Masker of Readlyn, IA and Tom Masker of Omaha, NE; and a sister Jane Weber of Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her father Clement Masker, her mother Alice Masker on August 16, 2013; her husband Kenneth, and a brother, Michael Masker. Joint Funeral Services for Pat and her mother, Alice Masker will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waverly with a burial for Pat in St. John's Cemetery in Denver, IA. Public visitation for Pat will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 21 at the Kimball Chapel in Waterloo and an hour prior to the services on Thursday at the Church. Memorials may be directed to the family.
