She was born June 3, 1928, in Humboldt, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Robert W. and Neva F. (Philpot) Power. On May 28, 1946, she was united in marriage to Joe Walters, who preceded her in death on March 2, 1984. Read More	Obituary for Patricia Walters Patricia Walters, age 93, of Gravois Mills, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Laurie Care Center. She was born June 3, 1928, in Humboldt, Nebraska, a daughter of the late Robert W. and Neva F. (Philpot) Power. On May 28, 1946, she was united in marriage to Joe Walters, who preceded her in death on March 2, 1984. Pat was a member of the Gravois Mills United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and the VFW Post 5178 Auxiliary. She was an accomplished artist who enjoyed painting. Pat was also a musician, playing the piano and organ for the church for many years. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing the clarinet. Pat is survived by her daughter, Sue Avis of Gravois Mills, Missouri; grandchildren, Tonya Raines, Stephanie Smith, Bo Walters, Nicholas Avis, Jilian Avis and Donovan Avis and wife Katie; seven great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Sam Walters and her daughter, Pam Ussery. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 28th, at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home with Pastor Lynn Facemyer officiating. Graveside services and interment will follow in the Versailles Cemetery.
