Charles Bogan, pastor. Interment was in St. Peter's Cemetery, Westernport, where the blessing was given by Rev. Charles H. Quinn, assistant pastor. A native of Defiance, Bedford County, Pa., Mr. Donahue was a son of the late Lawrence and Bridget (McLarkie) Donahue and had resided in Lonaconing 60 years. He had been a patient at the infirmary three weeks. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Winifred Mills, Westernport, and Mrs. Margaret O'Connor, Oakland, California. His wife, Mrs. Mollie McLarkie died two years ago." "Evening Times" (Cumberland, Md.), Monday 22 May 1950: "Lonaconing - Patrick Donahoe, 8o Main Street, died Saturday night in the Allegany County Infirmary, Cumberland, where he had been a patient for three weeks. A native of Bedford Co., Pa., near Defiance, he was a son of the late Lawrence and Bridget (McLarkie) Donahoe, and lived here 60 years, He was a plumber by trade and was a foreman when the gas line and water lines were laid here. Mr. Donahoe was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. His wife, the former Mollie Thomas, died about a year ago. A sister, Mrs. Winnie Mills, Westernport, is the immediate survivor (sic.) [Mrs. Margaret O'Connor, Oakland, California, is another surviving sister.] The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Westernport."
