Read More	Stricken with heart disease sometime during the night, Patrick Dunn, a well known and wealthy farmer of Liberty township, one of the pioneers of the Dunn settlement, and one of the original Dunn stock in this county, was found dead at 5 o'clock this morning when members of the family arose for the day. Mr Dunn had been in his usual health, altho his friends had realized that he had been failing during recent years. He had been a hard worker all his life and for his age was most rugged, even at 80. Mr Dunn was one of the heavy land owners of Liberty township, his holding amounting to 586 acres worth $175 per acre. Born in County Meath, Ireland, Mr Dunn came to this country as a young man forty-eight years ago and settled in Liberty township, where his brothers and cousins have populated an entire neighborhood known as the Dunn settlement, northeast of St Anthony. The Patrick Dunn homestead was three miles out of the town of St Anthony. Mr Dunn married Miss Catherine Murray, who settled in the Dunn neighborhood in 1867. Nine children were born to the couple and seven of them are living. Mrs Dunn died March 22, 1911. Mr Dunn's children are Thomas G, Charles W, Vincent and Raymond Dunn and Mrs J C F Dunn, all of St Anthony, Mrs Lyle Bowman of Sturgis, South Dakota and Mrs Walter S Irwin of Pasadena, California. Thomas Dunn of St Anthony is the last surviving brother and a sister, Mrs Margaret Mairs, lives in County West Meath, Ireland. The latter is the mother of Mrs Frank Kearns, 201 South Seventh Avenue. Mr Dunn's death was the second in ten days of the founders of the Dunn settlement, a cousin James E Dunn, having passed away on September 21 at the age of 81. They are the parents of nine children: Julia Ann, Charles William, Margaret, James H, John E, Thomas Gabriel, Mary Catherine, Vincent Patrick and Raymond.
