Description	:	Patrick Edward was the third of four sons born to Timothy & Mary A. (Dunn) Hannafan. His 1917 WW-I draft registration stated that Patrick had already served in the US Navy for three years. On 27 December 1915, Patrick first married Margaret Jepsen in Clinton, IA; he was age 22, she was 19. The second of four children {a son & three daughters} born to Chris & Catherina (Dierks) Jepson, Margaret died thirteen years later at age 32, but they had six children {three sons & three daughters}. Jessie was the oldest of three children {two sons & a daughter} born to Theodor B. & Mary (Strape) Schroer. Jessie had previously married Harry G. Sanders & had one daughter (Mary Ethel Sanders) by that union before Harry died in 1929. Patrick & Jessie had one child together; Richard P. (1932-???). Like many who lived in Clinton, Iowa between 1866 & 1966; Patrick worked for Curtis Bros. & Company -- "a leading producer of doors sash, blinds and general house finish. The company was the first to produced pre-glazed window units." By 1949, he was President of the Curtis Bros. Credit Union & plant superintendent. Patrick died at age 68.
