Description	:	Patrick John Dahm was born July 6, 1948 in Storm Lake, Iowa the son of Hilary and Mary (Higgins) Dahm. On July 11, 1948, Pat was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Early where he later received 1st communion, was confirmed and remained a lifelong member. On July 11, 1948, Pat was baptized at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Early where he later received 1st communion, was confirmed and remained a lifelong member. Growing up, Pat attended school at Sacred Heart School in Early where he graduated in 1967. Following high school graduation, Pat attended Buena Vista College where he graduated with a double major in Business and Economics. On November 24, 1973, Pat was united in marriage to Barbara Blass at the 1st Presbyterian Church in Early. Together, they were blessed with four children: Sarah Ann, Heather Marie, Kristin Elizabeth, and Kyle Patrick. Pat truly enjoyed being outdoors hunting, fishing or trapping. He also loved camping, canoeing, kayaking and could be found hunting the river for artifacts. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed attending his children and grandchildren’s school and sporting events. In his spare time, Pat enjoyed traveling and helping with 4-H projects. He was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever he was asked. Being a farmer and manufacturer, Pat took great pride in being able to teach his children and grandchildren how to weld and drive heavy equipment. Pat will be lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Barb Dahm of Early, Iowa; children: Sarah (Matt) Naberhaus of Schaller, Iowa; Heather (Jesse) Dahm-Fischer of Durham, North Carolina; Kristin Dahm (Lucas Baarlaer) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Kyle (Kelsey) Dahm of Early, Iowa; grandchildren: Connor and Grace Naberhaus; Indiana Dahm-Fischer; brothers: Rich (Terri) Dahm of Spokane, Washington; Tom (Kathy) Dahm of Early, Iowa; Fred (Dianne) Dahm of Maplewood, Minnesota; Bob Dahm (Kara Rieckenberg) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; sisters: Rose Dahmen (Dave Litman) of Denver, Colorado; Julia (Amadeus) Colenbrander of San Francisco, California; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; extended family and friends. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Hilary and Mary (Higgins) Dahm; parents-in-law, Delmer and Jackie Blass; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Linda and Dennis Baumeier; aunt and uncle, Zita (Don) McKenna and godparents: Donald (Frances) Drey.
