Description	:	Patrick O'Malley Sr. died at the home of his son, Lawrence O'Malley at Chambers, on Wednesday. Mr. O'Malley was 88 years of age and had been in poor health for some time. Funeral services were held in the Catholic Church Friday morning at 9 o'clock, Father Windolph officiating. Patrick O'Malley was born in Ireland, Jan. 1, 1829. In 1860 he married Mary Roach, to which eleven children were born, four of which are still living. In 1870 they came to America and took up residence at Scranton, Pa., where they lived until 1878 when they moved to a homestead near Creighton. Five years... In 1870, the family left for the United States, embarking at Liverpool on a steamship. They settled in Pennsylvania, where for eight years he worked as a shipping clerk in a glassware and crockery store. They, then, came west to Nebraska and filed on a homestead.
