Patsy Ann Freerks was born on September 27, 1945, the daughter of Oliver Theodore and Violet Mathilda (Wilken) Freerks inn Waverly, Iowa. She was confirmed at the First United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley rural Clarksville, Iowa. She attended country school in Nashua and Clarksville and graduated from Clarksville High School in Clarksville in 1964. Patsy Ann Freerks was born on September 27, 1945, the daughter of Oliver Theodore and Violet Mathilda (Wilken) Freerks inn Waverly, Iowa. She was confirmed at the First United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley rural Clarksville, Iowa. She attended country school in Nashua and Clarksville and graduated from Clarksville High School in Clarksville in 1964. She then attended Waterloo School of Beauty Culture, graduating on October of 1965. Patsy worked at the Chinese Restaurant in Waterloo while attending beauty school. She then ran her own beauty shop in Waverly for over 40 years. Pat then went to work for the Iowa DOT in Waterloo for 11 years. She also sold Mary Kay products for several years. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley. Patsy enjoyed meeting with her classmates once a month, going out with "The Golden Girls" and making cakes for the church sells. She loved eating out, gambling, shoes, clothing and purses. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Violet Freerks. Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 10:30 am at First United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley, rural Clarksville, Iowa with Pastor Peter Wenzel officiating. Patsy has been cremated and the will greet family and friends on Thursday, June 22nd from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the families discretion and online condolences for Patsy may be left at www.kaisercorson.com.
