Born March 7, 1931, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late James Mansfield and Edna Virginia Jordan Wolford. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Powell, in 1990. Patsy owned Pat’s Tavern in Williamsport for 20 years. The tavern now is known as 3rd Base Tavern. She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Williamsport. Born March 7, 1931, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late James Mansfield and Edna Virginia Jordan Wolford. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Powell, in 1990. Patsy owned Pat’s Tavern in Williamsport for 20 years. The tavern now is known as 3rd Base Tavern. She was a member of Rehoboth United Methodist Church in Williamsport. She was a past member of Red Feather Council Degree of Pocahontas 59 in Williamsport. She was a member of the local Democratic Party. Patsy is survived by her daughters, Teresa Bachtell, Cathy Burk; son, James Powell; sister, Claudia “Petie” Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, who lovingly called her Neeny. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Patrick Bachtell, and three brothers, William Wolford, James Wolford and Gary Wolford. Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. He was employed at Mack Trucks Inc. for 25 years, retiring in 1987 and was also owner/operator of Pat's Tavern in Williamsport for 14 years. He was of Methodist faith. He was a member of Elks Lodge 378, Hagerstown, UAW and was past sachem and a 40-year member of Conococheague Tribe 84 of IORM. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Patsy V. Wolford Powell' two daughters, Teresa Bachtell and Kathy Burk; son, James Powell (line missing). Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
