Description	:	The State Newspaper February 21 1952 Mrs Butler 67, Georgetown, Dies Georgetown Feb 20 Special Mrs. Pattie Parrish Butler of Georgetown and Charleston died at noon today in a Charleston Hospital, where she had been a patient since Monday. She had been in declining health for eight years and seriously ill for the past year. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of the Mayer Funeral Home at 11 o'clock Friday morning. Mrs. Butler the former Miss Pattie Parrish was born September 15, 1884 in Edenton NC and a daughter of the late Mr and Mrs George Parrish. She came to Georgetown in 1901 following her marriage to the late Mr. Butler who was engaged in the mercantile business until his death in 1936. Following the death of her husband Mrs. Butler continued the business until her health failed about eight years ago. Since that time she has made her home with her daughter and son in law Mr and Mrs C. S. Dennis at 7 Reid Street, Charleston. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Survivors include three sons John P. Butler of Charlotte, Raymond M. Butler of Summerville and Ben H. Butler of Georgetown; two daughters Mrs W. M. Smith and Mrs. C. S. Dennis both of Charleston; a brother George Parrish of Edenton NC, seven sisters Mrs. Annie B. Norfleet of Newport News Va., Mrs. W. N. Morgan of Hertford NC, Mrs W. M. Jackson and Mrs. Elizabeth Haddock both of Norfolk, Mrs. Carrie Smith of Oriental NC, Mrs Emma Warren of Portsmouth Va and Mrs Eula Fleetwood of Miami Florida a sister in law Mrs. J. E. Butler and a niece Mrs. Edna B. Shuford both of Georgetown.
