Description	:	Patty Joan Roberts, 81, of Walhalla, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 10, 2019. Patty was born February 20, 1937 in Buncombe County to her late parents Earl and Flora Rogers Treadway. She retired from Square D after over 30 years of employment. She loved to camp and fish, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Doyle, Bill, Lawrence (Duggan) and Paul. She loved to camp and fish, enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandkids. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Doyle, Bill, Lawrence (Duggan) and Paul. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, James Roberts; daughter, Stacie Payne and her husband Jason of Walhalla, SC; grandchildren, Bryce and Alysse Payne; best friend, Jean Ramsey; as well as several extended family members and friends. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Madison Funeral Services with Pastor Gary Haynes officiating. Interment will follow at Madison Seminary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
