Born Oct. 17, 1917, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Albert Mullan and the late Josephine (McKenzie) Mullan. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Francis Mullan. Mr. Mullan was retired as the general manager of the Chessie Employees Federal Credit Union in 1982 after 34 years of service. Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II, he was a staff sergeant with the 82nd Airborne Division, 504th Parachute Infantry, G Company serving in campaigns in Holland, Anzio and North Africa. He received two Purple Hearts and the Bronze Star. Read less
