He was 23 years, one month and 21 days of age. On February 3, 1935, he was united in marriage to Ethel Craig at Kirksville, Missouri, who survives him. He is also survived by his mother, two brothers, Boyd Evans and Jim White both of Lancaster, Missouri; four sisters, Mrs. Robert Bodkins of Lancaster, Missouri; Mrs. Newt Whitacre, Mrs. Glenn Spurgeon, Mrs. Herman Spurgeon all of Bloomfield, Iowa. A number of other relatives and an unnumbered group of friends. One brother, Bert Evans preceded him in death. He was a member of the Lancaster Methodist church. His entire life, with the exception of about three years, has been spent in Lancaster. His many friends will long remember his genial smile and kindness. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church Friday at 2 o’clock p.m. conducted by Rev. Robert Seath of Atlanta, Ill., and interment was in the I. O. O. F. cemetery.
