The funeral of the late Paul Arthur McCoy, the 4-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan McCoy, was held Friday morning at 9 o'clock from the Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. J. P. Barron in charge. The interment was in the Catholic cemetery. The pallbearers were six cousins of Paul and were Albert Miller, Cleo McCoy, Edwrd Lyons, Clifford Clinton, Sylvester McCoy and Lawrence McNerthey. Paul Arthur McCoy was born September 8, 1911 and died June 2, 1915 (sic), making him at the time of his demise 3 years, 8 months, and 25 days of age. The cause of his demise was ?. He had been eating ? beans and in some manner one of them became lodged in the throat, choking him to death. He leaves to morn his demise besides his grief-stricken mother and father, two brothers, James and Francis, and one sister, Nadine. The sincerest sympathy of a host of friends is offered the bereaved relatives in the loss of this loveable son and brother.
