He was born on May 4, 1937 in St. Henry, Ohio to Henry & Clara (Link) Thieman. He graduated from high School in Ohio. On October 21, 1978 in Geneva, he married Betty L. (Holloway) Thieman. They have shared the last 34 together. He retired in 1988 from Navistar International Truck in Fort Wayne after 26 years and then owned and operated P & B Service Station in Petroleum for 9 years. Even after retiring from the Station, Paul was always helping others working on family & friends cars at his home. He has served on the Nottingham Township Fire Department for many years and attended Union Chapel Nazarene Church. Paul is survived by his wife Betty of Keystone along with children; Pauline (husband Clete) Muhlenkamp of St. Mary's Ohio, Ralph (wife Beth) Thieman of Tipp City, Ohio, Angie (husband Louis) Sanchez of Ottoawa, OH and Paula Thieman of Keystone. He is also survived by siblings; Jerry Thieman of Celina, Ohio, Leo (wife Thelma) Thieman of St. Henry, OH, Louie Thieman of Indianapolis, IN, Mary M. Hemmelgarn of St. Henry, OH, Rita Keller of Dayton, OH, Alma (husband Paul) Solomon of Englewood, OH, Carol Brunswick of Wisconsin. He is preceded in death by a son Henry Thieman and sister Aggie Rammel and other brothers &sisters. Calling Hours for Paul will be held from 4 to 6 on Monday and 10 to 12 Noon on Tuesday at the Thoma/Rich, Chaney & Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton. Funeral services will take place at 12 Noon Tuesday, October 9, 2012, in the funeral home with Pastor Wilbur Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Stahl Cemetery in Wells County. Memorials may be made in Paul's memory to the Nottingham Township Fire Department or to the family through the funeral home.
