Born on October 28, 1926 in Breathitt County, KY, he was the son of William Blaine and Isabelle (Lovely) Stidham. Raised in Kentucky until the age of 5, he lived the majority of his lifetime in Whitley County, IN. He graduated with the Class of 1945 from Larwill High School, Larwill, IN. Read More	Paul Brian Stidham, age 82, of Columbia City, IN passed away at 6:45 a.m. Sunday, January 11, 2009 at his residence. Born on October 28, 1926 in Breathitt County, KY, he was the son of William Blaine and Isabelle (Lovely) Stidham. Raised in Kentucky until the age of 5, he lived the majority of his lifetime in Whitley County, IN. He graduated with the Class of 1945 from Larwill High School, Larwill, IN. On September 19, 1948 he was united in marriage to Melba Joan Evans in Columbia City, IN. A lifetime farmer, he owned and operated Stidham Farms and worked for LML Corporation, Columbia City. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Melba Joan Stidham of Columbia City; sons, Randall Stidham and David (Carolyn) Stidham, both of Columbia City; daughters, Marlane Stidham of Sarasota, FL and Margaret Carlin of Columbia City; sisters, Madelyn France of Medina, OH, Flossie (James) Slough of Bourbon, IN and Barbara Sue Rhodes of Fort Wayne, IN; 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Eileen Stidham, brothers, Luther, Lawrence, Earl and John Stidham, sisters, Opel Koontz, Kaye Perle, Grace Rebstock and Hattie McDaniel. There will be no visitation. Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at South Park Annex Cemetery, 1500 South State Road 205, Columbia City, IN with Pastor Curtiss Johnson officiating. Memorials may be given in memory of Mr. Stidham to Parkview Home Health and Hospice with envelopes available at the funeral home.
