He was a retired farmer and carpenter and enjoyed playing cards. He was a member of the church. Survivors include one sister, Frances Shotkoski of Silver Creek. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carl, Henry, and Peter; three sisters, Kathryn Danielski, Barbara Hybner, and Josephine Sliva; and his parents. Memorial may be made to donor's choice.
