Description	:	DRACUT, MA -- Paul D. Kolios, 89, died, peacefully, Monday, August 24th at his home, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his best friend and wife, Ellen I. (Lajoie) Kolios in 2011. Born in Lowell on October 16, 1925, Paul was the son of George and Elizabeth (Graham) Kolios. He was educated in the Lowell School System. He served his country proudly as part of the US Army during WWII until being honorably discharged at wars end. He was employed for 35 years as a nurses aid at the Bedford VA Hospital. He was also a self... Read More	DRACUT, MA -- Paul D. Kolios, 89, died, peacefully, Monday, August 24th at his home, with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his best friend and wife, Ellen I. (Lajoie) Kolios in 2011. Born in Lowell on October 16, 1925, Paul was the son of George and Elizabeth (Graham) Kolios. He was educated in the Lowell School System. He served his country proudly as part of the US Army during WWII until being honorably discharged at wars end. He was employed for 35 years as a nurses aid at the Bedford VA Hospital. He was also a self employed finish carpenter. Paul was a member of the Centerville Sportsman Club-Trap Team for 30 years. He also enjoyed hunting with his dogs and loved to travel in his motorhome to the beach, where he would surf fish often. Above all, his most cherished time was spent with his loving family. Paul is survived and will be deeply missed by his children, Steven Kolios and his wife Nancy of Merrimack, NH, Susan Killam of Dracut and Amy Gagnon and her husband Paul Gagnon of Dracut; two grandchildren, Leah Moran and her husband Mark of Lowell and Stephanie Huff and her husband Tyler of Goffstown,NH; two great- grandchildren, Zachary Moran and Trinity Huff; his siblings, Donald Kolios and his wife Judy of Billerica, Dolly Weiner of Nashua, and Arlene Gordon of Fitchburg, as well as many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Sophie. He was predeceased by his sons Peter and Carl Kolios; his sister, Lillian Cronin; and brothers, Robert, Henry and Charles Kolios. Published in Lowell Sun from Aug 25 to Aug 26,2015
