Stanley, 82, of 410 S. Main St. He died Friday morning in his winter home in Bradenton, Fla. He was born June 10, 1905, in New Castle, to Park and Martha Beamer Stanley. STANLEY MONTICELLO — Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home for Paul D. Stanley, 82, of 410 S. Main St. He died Friday morning in his winter home in Bradenton, Fla. He was born June 10, 1905, in New Castle, to Park and Martha Beamer Stanley. He was married July 26, 1930, in Dayton, Ohio, to Doris I. Laidley, who died Oct. 10,1987. He lived in Monticello since 1977, coming from Greenfield. He also lived in Dayton, Ohio, for several years. He had wintered in Florida for several years. He had owned and operated the P & D Grill, Cumberland. He attended Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Indianapolis. Surviving are three sisters, Fern Stanley, Wisconsin, Lois Wynn, Centerville, and Ila Koontz, New Castle; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The Rev. James Goodrum will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
