Description	:	Paul E. Evers age 90 of Bryant, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at The Alverno. According to his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held on at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 3rd at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10 AM until the service time at the church. Lunch will immediately follow the memorial service. Following the lunch, inurnment will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Paul was born on January 4, 1929 in Low Moor, the son of John and Hazel (Lee) Evers. He graduated Clinton High in 1947. Paul married Corrine Heel on October 23, 1948 in Clinton. He actively farmed and had a corn shelling business for nearly 50 years. Paul enjoyed getting together at family gatherings, playing cards and traveling. He belonged to Faith Lutheran Church in Andover, Farm Bureau and a few card clubs. Paul is survived by his wife Corrine; son Terry (Susanne) Evers of Camanche; daughter Sherri (Terry) Petersen of Miles; four grandsons, Terry Paul Jr. (Li Jun) Evers of Camanche, Robert Evers of Clinton, Brian (Amy) Petersen of Davenport and Ben (Emily) Petersen of Clinton; seven great grandchildren, Grace, Bobby, Kylie, Kadence, Gunner, Lucy and Broder; two brothers, Carlye Evers of Low Moor and Dick Evers of DeWitt; sister Nancy Drebelbeis of Eldridge and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Roger and a sister Betty Simmons. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. Pape Funeral Home
