Description	:	Paul was born May 11, 1957, at Broken Bow, Nebraska, to Clayton & Joan (Curren) Glendy. Paul graduated from Broken Bow High School, it was there that he met his first wife Patty Mogenson. From this union they were blessed with four children, Peter, who died as an infant, Adam, David and Leah. The two later Divorced. Paul married Tina (Wolf) Newell December 2, 1994. Read More	Paul was born May 11, 1957, at Broken Bow, Nebraska, to Clayton & Joan (Curren) Glendy. Paul graduated from Broken Bow High School, it was there that he met his first wife Patty Mogenson. From this union they were blessed with four children, Peter, who died as an infant, Adam, David and Leah. The two later Divorced. Paul married Tina (Wolf) Newell December 2, 1994. Paul and Tina enjoyed 25 years of marriage before she died May 27, 2020. After living in Broken Bow for a few years the two settled in WaKeeney, Kansas. In both Broken Bow and WaKeeney, Paul worked as a general contractor where he laid flooring or traveled doing cemetery lettering throughout parts of Nebraska and Kansas. Paul and Tina worked together for three years as directors of the Cedar Bluff Christian Youth Camp. Paul enjoyed a variety of activities including playing cards with friends and family, dancing, camping, gardening, serving elderly members of the community alongside Tina, talking God and politics, preaching the occasional sermon on Sunday, and most of all spending time with his kids and grandkids. Paul is survived by his children, Adam (Wendi) Glendy of Broken Bow, Nebraska, David (Tara) Glendy of Broken Bow, Nebraska, and Leah (Jeremy) Jech of Wayne, Nebraska; Stepchildren, Derik Newell of Bentonville, Arkansas, Amber (Curt) Wagner of Ellis, Kansas and Darin Newell of Hays Kansas; 17 grandchildren; his mother Joan Glendy of Broken Bow; his mother in-law Anita (Stan) Desbion of Hill City, Kansas; siblings Kim (Keith) Williams of Riverton, WY, Lori Williams of Broken Bow and Kristi (Tony) Sanchez of Broken Bow; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Tina; his father Clayton; infant son Peter; his brother Rick and his father-in-law Elmo Scott. br /A memorial service for family and friends was held at the Ogallah Christian Church in Ogallah, Kansas on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at 11:00 am, a lunch followed the church. Schmitt Funeral home was in charge. The service was live streamed!
