Description	:	Mr Paul E.Chinn 82 of Jefferson passed away Saturday October 19, 2013 at his home. Paul was born April 17, 1931 in Clarence Mo. the son of Paul A. and Mildred E. Bunn Chinn. He was married to Loretta Crank, who preceded him in desth on March 28, 2012. A resident of the Central Mo area most of his life, Paul graduated from Clarence High School Clarence Mo. Early in his career, Paul was employed with the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey installing radio towers in Alaska. Paul was born April 17, 1931 in Clarence Mo. the son of Paul A. and Mildred E. Bunn Chinn. He was married to Loretta Crank, who preceded him in desth on March 28, 2012. A resident of the Central Mo area most of his life, Paul graduated from Clarence High School Clarence Mo. Early in his career, Paul was employed with the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey installing radio towers in Alaska. He was employed as an engineer wih the Missouri Dept. of Transportation in Hannibal for five years and in Jefferson City for thirty years prior to his retirement. After retirement from the Missouri Highway Department, he was employed with the Federal Emergrncy Management Agency for fifteen years at various locations throughout the country. Paul was a member of the Macon Masonic Lodge, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie 2693 ad the B.P.O.of Elks. Surviors include two sons, Bruce Chinn and wife Kathy of Jefferson City and Wayne Chinn and wife Janet of Jefferson City. two daughters, Paula McCurren of Jefferson City, and Laura Hamilton and husband Larry of Norman OK. ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother, Donald Chinn and one sister, JoAnn Leverton. Private graveside services and interment were conducted at the Maplewood Cemetery in Clarence Mo. on October 23, 2013. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Assn. or the American Lung Assn. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.
