Description	:	Obituary Lineville Tribune Paul, only child of Victor and Laura Foxworthy, was born in Elk Co., Kas., December 29th, 1886, and died in the Sanitarium, Dansville, N.Y. May 8th, 1890, aged 3 years, 4 months and 10 days. His illness was protracted throughout nearly his entire life, and baffled the skill of the most skillful. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church, Lineville, Iowa, May 11th, 1890, conducted by the writer, assisted by Rev. Dix, of the Des Moines Conference, and the remains were followed to Evergreen cemetery by a large concourse of sympathizing and sorrowing friends, and peacefully laid to rest, until the trumph of God shall sound to wake the nation of the dead, Rev. Dix officiating in the funeral service. The bereft have the sympathy of their many friends here. Death found strange beauty on that polished brow and dashed it out. He touched the veins with ice the rose faded. Ruthlessly he bound the silken fringes of those curtained lids forever. He set his seal of silence, but there beamed a smile so fixed, so holy, from that cherub brow death gazed, and lift it there. He dared not steal the signet ring of heaven. The fair flower transplanted on the sweet fields of immortal verdure gloom forever. Dear little Paul, thou darling child Thy troubles are all o're, And thou art safe arrived so soon, On Canaan's happy shore. Thou hast so soon the haven gained, To dwell among the blest; Where the wicked cease from trouble And the weary are at rest." Cling Dear little Paul, thou lovely child, The little carriage waits; But waits in vain to bear thy form, Through the inviting gates. The little rocking-horse stands still As if to wait for thee' But Ah! No more will little Paul The gallant rider be. Dear little Paul, thou much loved They couch is empty now. [child, When through the night fond parents watched] And smoothing thy throbbing brow. No more amid the sleepless They smooth the pillows fain, Though smooth indeed, thy lovely form Is no more resting there. Thy little form is resting now Beneath Iowa's sod, Thy deathless soul to heaven is got To be at rest with God.
