Description	:	Paul Gene Wilkins, 67, of Mathias, died Saturday, September 12, 2009, at his residence in Mathias. He was born February 2, 1942 in Hardy County, WV, and was the son of the late John and Hannah See Wilkins. He retired in 2004 from the Hardy County Board of Education after 25 years as a custodian. He was later self-employed for many years as a combine operator, and also worked for George Swick as a carpenter. Read More	Paul Gene Wilkins, 67, of Mathias, died Saturday, September 12, 2009, at his residence in Mathias. He was born February 2, 1942 in Hardy County, WV, and was the son of the late John and Hannah See Wilkins. He retired in 2004 from the Hardy County Board of Education after 25 years as a custodian. He was later self-employed for many years as a combine operator, and also worked for George Swick as a carpenter. He was a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club, and was also a member of the Lost City Baptist Church. He was an Avon representative where he received a President’s honor society. On December 19, 1970, he married Betty See who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Lynnette Dawn Wilkins of Mathias, WV; a brother, Delbert Wilkins of Mathias, WV; two sisters, Audrey Fitzwater of Mathias, WV and Deloris Link of Baker, WV. Preceding him in death is a brother, Lawrence Wilkins. A funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at the Mathias Church of the Brethren. Burial was at the Wilkins Family Cemetery
