Description	:	Paul Gray Stanley, 71, of Ramseur, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012, after a courageous battle with melanoma cancer at his residence. Funeral Services, 2 PM, Saturday, September 1, 2012, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church, Ramseur. Officiating, Rev. Leon Thompson, Rev. Gary Waisner. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Paul was a Randolph County native, retired from Arrow Precision Products, served in the National Guard, and a faithful member of the Ramseur Wesleyan Church where he was an usher for many years. He was a Duke basketball fan, an avid fisherman and enjoyed meeting with his friends at the Franklinville Restaurant every morning. Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many people. He will be remembered by his family for his Christian example and also by his family and community for his friendship. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Callie Poindexter Stanley, brother, Robert "Bobby" Stanley, sister, Carolyn S. Auman. Survivors: wife of 46 years, Mary Kivett Stanley, of the home, sons, Kenneth Stanley, and wife, Jenee, of Asheboro, Kelby Stanley, and wife, Angie, of Liberty, sister, Eva Voncannon, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Hank and Dixie Stanley, special niece, Tammy Stanley Sheffield, of Seagrove, special nephews, Barry Cook, of Asheboro, Lee Cook, Todd Cook, both of Franklinville, Tracy Stanley, of Ramseur, mother-in-law, Selma Kivett, of Ramseur, brother-in-laws, Paul Wesley Kivett, of Greensboro, Rev. Dr. Forbis Kivett, and wife, Raynita, of Archdale, sister-in-law, Martha Dunn, and husband, Jeff, of Franklinville. Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur.
